In the name of Allah, most gracious, most merciful.

Bilal Farms is serving community since 1998, by providing fresh, quality HALAL Meat. Bilal Farms has been in the butchering trade for about 10 years. We have dedicated ourselves to serving the Muslim community of Ottawa-Carleton region in the way of the Qur'an and Sunnah by providing the Halal, Fresh and healthy meat products.

Meaning of HALAL
Halal is an Arabic word which means "permissible" or "lawful". The Qur'anic term Halal is that which is permitted and allowed by Allah(swt).

Importance of HALAL
Consuming halal is an order of Allah(swt) and an essential part of the Islamic faith. Allah has repeatedly emphasized the consumption of halal in the Qur'an. Few of the examples of such verses are:

Al-Baqara (The Cow) [2:168]
"O, ye men! Eat of what is in the earth lawful and wholesome and follow not the footsteps of Satan;
for verily he is an open enemy to you."
Al-Baqara (The Cow) 2:168

Al-An'am (The Cattle) [6:118]
"So eat of that (meat) upon which Allah's name has been mentioned, if you are believers in His verses."

Our facility, operating standards and the slaughtering of animals are inspected and A-Rated certified
by the Ontario Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs (OMAFRA).

Government inspector is always present at the time of slaughter and inspects each & every live and
slaughtered animal.
